Music has been the driving force of Sophie Oliver’s life from a very young age. She began her career at just 14 as part of the TV show Cantaníños, where she earned her first Gold Record. At 19, she was selected to star in High School Musical: El Desafío, which marked the beginning of a
six-year collaboration with Disney. During that time, she received three additional Gold Records and received professional training in both music
and acting — laying the foundation for her artistic journey.

After that chapter, Sophie chose to continue her path as an independent artist — a major challenge after having the support of such a massive platform. She took part in various projects, including her band Oliviah (2010–2013), and is currently the lead vocalist of Brixton Cumbia Association, a London-based cumbia collective. Still, her artistic essence has always been deeply rooted in melodic pop with emotional depth.

In 2021, she released her first solo album, “Otra vez me levanté” — a deeply emotional body of work. She now presents her second album,
“To Space”, a more introspective and personal project consisting of ten songs, mostly in English. Many of them were born during a creative retreat in nature, where she isolated herself for three weeks to write and compose. The production began in California with renowned producer Ronnie King (The Offspring, Snoop Dogg, Mariah Carey), and was completed in Buenos Aires with Gustavo Buchiniz and Agustín Della Croce,
who also join her in live performances.

“To Space” is a sonic journey inward and beyond. It speaks of not giving up, of trusting yourself, and moving through personal processes with strength and sensitivity. While it may sound like a cliché, sometimes we need to be reminded that we can always start over. This music was born out of that very need — and she hopes that anyone who listens might find a bit of that reminder for themselves too.
